Shubhankar Sharma made waves internationally, finishing T7 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship 2023 and achieving a remarkable T8 at the prestigious 151st Open, the best performance ever by an Indian at The Open. He also represented India at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Abhinav Lohan emerged as a consistent force, securing a commendable 5th position at the 37th National Games and clinching the 3rd spot at the Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2023.
Karan Pratap Singh showcased his talent with a victory at the TATA Steel PGTI Players Championship 2023 and another triumph at the Kapil Dev Grand Thornton Invitational 2023, contributing to a total of 6 top-10 finishes throughout the year.
Kartik Sharma’s bronze medal at the 37th National Games and his strong showings at the TATA Steel PGTI Championship and Gujarat Open Golf Championship solidified his standing in the golfing community with a total of 4 top-10 finishes.
Kshitij Naveed Kaul exhibited his skills with a 3rd place finish at the Ahmedabad Open Golf Championship 2023 and represented Haryana at the 37th National Games.
Sunhit Bishnoi claimed victory at the India Cements Pro Championship 2023 and secured podium positions at the Kapil Dev Grand Thornton Invitational and Bhawani Singh Rathore presents Jaipur Open 2023, ending the year with 6 top-10 finishes.
The achievements of the professional women golfers from Haryana were equally impressive.
Diksha Dagar emerged victorious at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open 2023 and secured notable positions at the Amundi German Masters and Hero Women’s Indian Open 2023, leading to 9 top-10 finishes and the distinction of being the second-highest-ranked Indian woman golfer globally and 3rd in the LET Order of Merit for 2023.
Vani Kapoor shone in the Women’s Team event at the 37th National Games, claiming a silver medal, and adding a bronze in the individual event.
Gaurika Bishnoi showcased her mettle with a 5th place finish at the 37th National Games, a T8 at Hero Women’s Indian Open 2023, and triumphs at WGAI Legs 6 and 8, along with a 1st runner-up position at Leg 6.Neha Tripathi dominated the WGAI circuit with wins at Legs 10, 12, and 15, while Tvesa Malik claimed victories at Legs 11 and 13, securing a 1st runner-up spot at Legs 12 and 15. Ridhima Dilwari displayed her skills with a 2nd place finish at WGAI Leg 1 and another 2nd position at Leg 14.
